We are providers of Education to children and young people identified as having Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
We support the needs of our pupils who may have Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and or Learning Difficulties. We have schools in both Suffolk and Norfolk both of which use the Secure Base in Schools model to build relationships and develop pathways to learning. The Secure Base model has been developed through a range of research and practice dissemination projects led by Professor Gillian Schofield and Dr Mary Beek in the Centre for Research on Children and Families at the University of East Anglia, UK. Using this model enables our young people to successfully access education and begin to rebuild their self-belief and worth/self-esteem.
We know that many of our young people have had negative learning experiences before they arrive. Our schools provide a curriculum that ensures programs of study suit the individual range of each child’s needs, child’s needs, their interests and learning styles, both inside and outside the classroom. This enables them to re-engage in learning in a more positive way as well as building their self-esteem and confidence as they start to see their successes.
Our beliefs limit or expand our world.
The Ryes will build your self-belief and help you find your super power
