Welcome to Argyll House

Teenagers Cleaning Up the Beach

We are a very small school registered for 8 Pupils, based on the stunning North Norfolk coastline. As well as the standard curriculum, our school also offers a bespoke learning package. This is tailored to meet the needs of the individual pupil so that they can reach their full potential. Lessons are not only taught in classrooms, we also make use of the outdoor opportunities and spaces that North Norfolk has to offer, such as the parks, coastline and beaches.

We offer a caring and therapeutic approach to our pupils that have barriers to their learning, such as Attachment Disorders, Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), ASD and ADHD.

Here at Argyll House we believe, and take pride in, offering a therapeutic approach to the education of our pupils.   At our school we provide a safe, nurturing and caring environment which helps our pupils explore opportunities to find their passions, develop their skills and forge their own individual identities.

We provide a curriculum which emphasises Literacy & Numeracy skills, Personal and Social Development and Learning through the Environment to help our pupils become confident members of society ready to forge successful independent lives

Meet our Head teacher at Argyll House

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Argyll House.

I am privileged to be in the position of leading this small school, located on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast.

I have led schools at various locations in East Anglia over in a period of over 25 years.

Argyll House School is a special place, where we aim to give a calm nurturing environment where students feel safe and can thrive. We have a dedicated staff who are passionate about bringing out the best in our students. We are, above all, a school and our focus is very much on learning.

As a parent myself, I am all too aware of the pressures facing young people in today's world. However, I am a firm believer in power of positive thinking, encouragement and endeavor in assisting in overcoming difficulties and moving forwards.  Every day I see our students move forwards on life's journey, both in terms of their learning and their personal development. Like all journeys, there are ups and downs, fun parts and hard work. My aim is to ensure that we accompany all of our students at every step on this journey and help them become the best they can be.'
